The length is the measurement of the insole, not the sole. This type of construction creates a non-usable step, which we do not count. The width is measured from the space between the straps. It is not advisable to leave more than 5mm for the length. If you are between two sizes, we advise you to order the smaller one; don't be alarmed if it is one or two sizes smaller than your usual size. It depends on personal preferences to leave more or less margin.
